How does Consilio’s retail asset protection solution work?
The watermark creates a unique copy for each recipient of the sensitive asset, it remains hidden and can survive resizing, cropping, and compressing – while still yielding positive results. Clients use this to share and monitor pre-embargo product information through marketing toolkits, preventing the unauthorised access of high-resolution images and video downloads.
Thanks to the integrated IMATag digital watermarking technology, eight images of an unannounced device were detected on a website in Germany. The Consilio team was able to analyse the images and identify when and where a specific person downloaded them. This identified user was then blocked, allowing the client to act against the company or person in question and make informed decisions regarding the future of their involvement.
